August 17 He is broken. I cried too, don’t get me wrong, felt it in my chest and throat, but didn’t allow myself to thrust heaving sobs; instead I did what I do best- detatched myself completely and let him talk, varying between telling me not to go, telling me he’ll never forget me, and crying.
